Is Sunny open during lunchtime? We could keep the meet during the afternoon, which would mean.

• Less crowd.
• No night driving, so less strain.
• Since it would start raining in June, driving during day gives better visibility.
• Enjoy the greenery around during daytime.
• Even enjoy rains during daytime rather than late night when it gets a bit messy.
• Lastly better photographs since we have natural sun light.

Sunny is crowded 24/7 and on a weekend, it can take a lot of time to accomodate all of us be it for lunch or for dinner if they do not agree to pre-book us.

But yes, the food is mind-blowing but quite expensive. Dont see you name in the list...are you not coming?

After coming back from Goa, you please try to pre-book the tables at sunny.
If that doesn't work, then we will look for other options like tony and bigwheels.

As most guys prefer dinner meet for better convenience and enjoyment, i don't think lunch meet will be preferred.

Sunny serves best food and i think almost three mega meets happened at that place in the past.
Last time, we had done a-la-carte and it worked cheaper than fixed price per person.

We will announce final date of the meet tomorrow on 1st June as per poll.

At least for one day in 365 days, bhpians can manage a lunch meet. It ain't that difficult.

As of now, poll shows that @59% voter preferred 16th June for the meet and @78% voters preferred as dinner only meet.

+1. Lets keep it a lunch meet during day rather than late evening meet.

Driving on Mum-Pune E-Way, is way too tiring with those trucks & cars will high beam glare in your eyes and rains to spoil visibility. Driving in afternoon is easier and lesser strain.

What say everyone? For once lets keep a lunch meet. A small change for better.

There are many guys who work on Saturday/Sunday.
In the past, all mega meets happened on Saturday evening wrt demand of concerned members.
Lunch mega meet is possible only on national holidays like 26th Jan, 15th Aug which are dry days.
Regarding driving in the evening/ night ,headlamp glare and rain, come-on guys, that could not be reason not to drive after sunset.
Its expressway and 4 lane old NH4 and not any 2 lane congested highway.

I suggest you guys carry marker pens & labels along. Stick the labels on your t-shirt, it's easier to identify others in such a large group (and a superb ice breaker too).

I'm going out for a holiday that weekend. Still remember the fun we had at the Sunny meet 2011.

Car pooling (atleast 2 per car) should always be mandatory IMO for any tbhp meet..I find it hard to stomach when educated and aware citizens drive big vehicles solo to meets/drives.

We all love automobiles no doubt, but I think we need to love our planet a bit more than cars - we can still appreciate the sheer beauty and fun of driving - along with a couple of like minded people.
