16th is already fixed, you won't have to put your vote!

Fixed menu is ok, though 650/- per head is very very slightly on the higher side, but not a deal breaker at all. I think we should stick with this.

My first meet was the Oye Punjabi this year, and there was a huge turnout at this meet. Getting everyone to pay up their share and noting down their names (I think Kaushik was the Vasooli Anna along with Dan) and then having a buffet worked out great. People didn't have to worry about settling the bills and so enjoyed the food and conversation. Of course it also helped that we had the whole top floor to ourselves and there were a few people who had already met at Manas/Igatpuri who didn't want to stay for lunch.

I suggest we go for the fixed price fixed menu unlimited option to avoid hassles of managing money and people cribbing later about food not ordered but paid for. We paid Rs. 500 pax, so I think Rs. 650 might not be too high (still, try and get it down to 600 would be my comment).

A la carte with such a big group of people, many of whom are meeting for the first time, is bound to create lots of issues. Let's stick to the fixed price fixed menu unlimited quantity system.

Yes kind of :-)...2006 I joined to do initial study of which car to buy, finally purchased palio in 2007, was part of first PUG meet within one month of owning palio, out of india in 2008, back in 2011. Till these years I was silent spectator and enjoying reading passionate ownership reports.

Want to get the punch of BHP meet, hope my wife and son likes it!

+1. I think it is better to go with Fixed Price. Anything extra that is ordered can be paid at the individual table.

You could bring them along, however they need to be aware of Team BHP and the talk would invariably be of automobiles, cars, bikes, travelogues and such. Most of us are meeting each other for the first time and we haven't met in real life. It's sometimes difficult when you start asking around, "Hey, what's your handle on TBHP?", or when you are called by your handle/screenname and when you respond, your family will most likely be surprised.

Adding my name into the tentative. I'm going to be moving from Magarpatta city in Pune so i can hook up or ride along with other on the waya...
Couple of thoughts:

1. I think we should confirm Sunny's; Last time I was there for the tbhp meet, I saw families and women in short skirts. That sure affirms that its safe, clean, decent and posh enough. Should be good enough for us! And the parking is plenty, food and extras are good and enough place is clean.
2. About the billing, how about we go ala carte and split the the total bill with the number of people who turned up. Lets be honest here, we are all out to have a good time and not for free lunches (dinners), and we obviously don't mind sharing so lets just eat well and pay up. One for all and All for one. I would suggest we keep the other extras, like the Baramati special but for food and water, this works. As long as we keep the last order at 11:45, no extra charge too.
