This time I believe, the point of interests would be Kaas, Kaas Lake and Bamnoli.
Considering this it would be a one day event like last time.
Typically, it would be a 9AM start from Mahendra Executive, Satara and getting back to Satara by 6PM.

You being in Pune, 1 day would be convinient for you. Typically, stay is considered by Bangy members and few Mumbaikars unless and until you looking to roam around.

As for the last year, all Pune Members met at Katraj Tunnel @ 6AM. All Mumbai Members met at Panvel McD @ 5AM and we all returned by 7PM the same day.

We have too! With family its a long drive and would be too hectic.

If this is finalized around the 10-11th weekend, then we would see some colorful Ganesh festives in MH on the way as well.

Me being from Mumbai, reached on 24th last year considering my wife and dad just not to make the ride hectic. 24th being my wifey's birthday what could be better than gifting whole flower plateau instead of Bokeh.

Yes, i had been away for a road trip to Aurangabad and Lonar, will be posting travelogue this weekend.
Hope the final date realized will be the 24th.

keyur has been tempting me with invite to this trip. Satara is 516 kms from Hyderabad according to GMaps and upto Solapur it would be NH-9. From Solapur I will be going through Mohol and Pandarpur to reach Satara. Any idea how the road is between Solapur and Satara?

This year, we will visit only kaas and bamnoli.

Approximate schedule will be----

start from satara @10am,
visit bamnoli, if possible boat ride to tapola and back, lunch at bamnoli, if time permits and if interested then visit to triveni sangam by car.
Return to kaas lake @ 3pm,
kaas plateau flower show @5pm,
Leave toward satara--@6pm.

The schedule is flexible,
one will get ample time at each station.

If this is the schedule then I need to reach Satara the previous night itself and then stay the meet night also at Satara. For me it would be 3 days and 2 nights trip. Am I right?
