It seems that people here prefer saturdays and 17th of sept is front runner as of now.

We will decide the date on 20th Aug so that people who are going to stay at Satara will have enough time to reserve the hotel rooms.

The date will be decided strictly on vote basis, only those vote of people who had confirmed in the list will be counted.[ democracy, democracy]

The hotel is bang on the highway with ample parking space. This will be a meeting point for all TBHPians in morning before leaving to Kaas

The hotel is in heart of Satara and on way to Kass/Thosegar/Bamnoli. Food is wow and service is excellent. Infact, last year while my stay, I had ordered cake as 24th is my Wifey's b'day and it was done. All this arrangement prior to my arrival without handling them any money. As a matter of fact, the hotel advertise itself as tallest building among all in Satara.

Total time from Panvel to Satara would range anywhere from 2Hr:30Min to 3Hr:30Min

@Ashish Bhau, Just doing my part on this. To me, the last year meet still appears as if its been only few months (though 12 long months). And bhau, this time we should probably cover Kass plateau, Kaas Lake and Bamnoli.

Yes we are. I'm game for any date. Would not miss this for any other reason, other than an emergency.

Sounds good. Only concern is that we might need to go there with a bit more planning on when to start from here and get back etc. For now I've voted for Sept 17th, but lets see how the overall poll turns out to be - if needed, I can shift to the 24th weekend also.

As of now I'm also tentatively in but have a project deadline falling on the same week (21st actually) Hence I'm unable to decide which date would be preferable for me so haven't voted. Anyway, I really wish that I can make it this time and will make all the effort to join the Bangalore guys.

I haven't been to this trip before, so could someone please put up the plan for the day. I am asking this because there are a lot of people who seem to be planning on an overnight stay and I would like to know if the plan is for a single day or two.
