Idea thanks for your inputs. However BBQ Nation / Lemon tree are not the appropriate places for such a large meet / type of a meet. Though good for going with few friends or family members. I have been to BBQ nation several times, usually on sat the waiting period is at least 1-2 hours + arranging a table for 50 people is out of question. + these places close by 11.30 - 12pm

Traditionally and for practical reasons, we prefer a place like Dhaba.

Folks the venue has been frozen and also the fact that we are going a la carte. Let's not endlessly debate these. After all, the important thing is that we meet up and get enough time and space to interact in a familiar environment and Sunny da Dhaba seems to provide that.

Agree with you, lets not discuss the venue any further. Sunny Da Dhaba is an appropriate place plus is liked by many of us. However, I would still like to hold the thought about "a-la-carte" option. SunChaser has spoken to the owner and has given me his number + the count is also increased. Lets see if we can strike a better deal.

+100 to that! I know that at the end the meet matters; But would love to go the "Non" Ala-carte way. It makes things a lot simple.

Please workout the deal; The count will easily bump up to 70+ !

@ALL: Citing that this is a huge meet of Team-BHP we should all also finalize on "NO" alcohol for anyone. This would also be promoting safe driving. Please let me know your thoughts on this.

Yes we just take the Lonavala exit and continue driving towards Pune on the old road.

Yes there are two ways of doing this. Akshay has described one of them below.

The other is to continue up to the Dehuroad toll plaza and then exit from the extreme left toll gate which will read "Exit to Talegaon". This road leaves the expressway and brings one to the old Bombay Poona highway. At the cross roads take a left towards Bombay and drive down to the venue which will be to your right.

This is longer than the route above. However any one who overshoots the Lonavala exit can use it as there really is no option of turning around on the Expressway.

For practical reasons, i also feel that if we get reasonable deal, we should go by fixed cost rather than a-la-carte.
