Safe low usage driver driven SUV under 15L for parents: Taigun or something

Hi
I live in the US and my parents live in Kolkata.

I wanted to get a 5-7 seater SUV for them. It will be used mostly for city driving 3-4 times a month. I am looking for something safe. They will call a driver from an agency whenever they need to go use it.

Not important: Driving fun, tech features and fuel efficiency.
Important: Safety, Comfort, Reliability, After Sales Service

I have a Cayenne Turbo and VW GTI. So I am partial towards the VW group, but open to other brands. Based on my research, VW Taigun, seems to fit the bill well. Do you have any other suggestions.

I have been out of India for too long and don't know much about brand feedback anymore.
