The stated boot capacity on paper can sometimes be different from the actual usable boot capacity. For example, while the Creta and Seltos may have larger stated boot space figures than the Kushaq and Taigun, in reality, the Kushaq and Taigun offer more practical and usable boot space. This variation depends on the design and shape of the boot area.

Yes, when I began writing this comparison, the prices of the Citroen weren't disclosed yet, and the distribution of variants was unclear, which is why I couldn't include it.

Exhaustive analysis!

However, found one mistake with the length of Kia Seltos. The facelift model is marginally longer at 4365 mm.

Thanks for catching that! I'll request the mods to update it.

Re: Midsize SUV Comparison | A closer look at today's top contenders

Quite an exhaustive analysis MotorDev. For completion's sake, it would have been great to include two out-of-the-box contenders - the XUV400 and C3 Aircross. One focuses on electric propulsion and the other on suspension tuning, adding a new flavor to this segment.

It's clear that the Korean twins are the winners here. Thanks for the analysis!

Re: Midsize SUV Comparison | A closer look at today's top contenders

One stop article to decide on which to buy. It couldn’t get more exhaustive than this. Thank you for the efforts for providing these comparative analysis.
This is the hottest segment and more and more people are upgrading to this from small cars.
I wish Ford was also in the comparative list but can’t complain as they have wound up.
I am fancying Citroen will make a good mark. Still early days but they are there in the field.

It basically has a tiny boot.
There's something definitely wrong about the Astor's boot.

Before buying my Seltos last year and being part of the vile "golfer" species, i did the notorious golf set test last year.

The set did not fit flat in the Astor. It did sit flat - albeit diagonally - in the Seltos.

Re: Midsize SUV Comparison | A closer look at today's top contenders

This is one hell of a comparison. Would be very useful when I choose my next car.

Toyota/Maruti should have provided at least one variant with AT-AWD-Strong Hybrid combination. The cost may have gone high, but it could have been their halo variant. Those who wanted and could afford would have loved it.

Beauty is in the eye of the beholder. A 3 star rating on safety does not make them winners by any margin - by my subjective viewpoint. That said, lack of rating on Honda Elevate or Toyota Hyryder makes it challenging to compare.

Your comparison is beautifully done and nearly everything required is included in it.

Will go throught it properly once again.

Thanks.

Re: Midsize SUV Comparison | A closer look at today's top contenders

Excellent analysis, will go thoroughly over it again, for now, my heart is with the Elevate, i just want a no-nonsense less feature rich list with ADAS on highway driving. The engine is worth spending the money again and shifting to the same level from 4th Gen City.

Re: Midsize SUV Comparison | A closer look at today's top contenders

Wonderful comparison! The Koreans would've been the go-to option if not for their safety. If Hyundai-Kia managed to make the body more safe, they would've destroyed the competition.
