Re: Buying a 1st-gen Ford Endeavour 3.0L | Yes or No?

Read the post and the post was screaming all through "Nooooo, don't go for it !". Most of the fellow BHPians have already covered it, what you are trying to do is Russian Roulette (just that it has 5 bullets and 1 empty chamber in this case)

If you are switching to SUV only for comfort, then smaller ones might meet your requirements better. Creta/Seltos/Compass are all good mile munchers with good comfort. Bigger SUVs like Fortuner are a hassle in cities and might be stressful to find parking.

Stay far away from such purchases!

A decommissioned vehicle, manufacturer has already packed bags and left, 2+ lakh on the odo, how many more obvious reasons you need bro?

It seems like you simply want to own an SUV and this suits the budget, fair enough. But it may be your worst nightmare as well so use your head (not heart) and just move on.

Re: Buying a 1st-gen Ford Endeavour 3.0L | Yes or No?

Thank you so much for the comments, BHPian.

To answer some of you though,

- I have the budget of 15L but since I knew the owner and some of my best friends owns Endy for ages and they suggested it, I wanted to give it a try.
- Yes, someone told my wife that SUVs are much safer so she wants me to go for SUV. I told her how sturdy a Skoda or even Tata Tiago can be but she is bit more concerned post Bypass hence the SUV. Cant argue much with the missus.

I have decided not to go for this Endy after the advices shared by you all. Will keep my Honda City which is doing a fine fine job and explore the pre-worshipped SUV market for few more weeks or months.

Thank you once again guys!
