My visit to a Harley Davidson dealer in South Korea

Today i visited one of the six HD dealers in South korea. That was an awesome experience because for the first time I got to see so many harley's at one time. The sales guys were very cooperative and they even allowed me to sit on on some of the models. My favourite amongst those was sportster 883C which is sadly not being launched in India. All models are lot cheaper here than in India. For example Sportster 883L costs OTR 12.9 million won which is about Rs 5,16,000 where its ex showroom price in india is Rs 6,95,000.Guess here the import duty structure is in favor of the bikers.I am not sure when indian policy makers will realise this. Enjoy the pictures. Cheers.

Thanks for sharing Abhishek, I too love the 883C except for the its puny looking front tires, they could've made it better, but not too fat like the Iron 883 either. A 883C with forward controls & good profile front tires with stage 1 or 2 mods is a real awesome to ride.

Do you have a pic of VRSC V-Rod? Road King? Heritage Classic? All of them are my favorites. Pls post a pic of them if you have any.

BTW, did you buy anything or just made a visit for a future purchase?

Edit - What is the 3rd flag do I see there? Is it Indian flag by any chance?

The photos are very nice. its good to see that crome and those vibrant colors on some of them. the sportster is one of the best HD that one can buy.

No offence but Try to google and look at what indian Flag looks like.

Abhishek, the CVO touring looks awesome; where's heritage classic? That's one of the most beautiful & stands to its classic. Oh!!! BTW, did you spot any trike? I doubt on this highly.

Is there any problem as I googled out & the tri strip colors are safron, white & green which is similar to the one spotted above. Could you pls point out if there're any mistakes?

Nice to see one Indian in South Korea in Team BHP. I am in South Korea for past 4 + years. You can see a lot of HD lovers here, and they used to parade regularly. If you go around Yoido, in the bank of Han river, you can see a lot of enthusiasts parade and take a rest around there.

Also there is Royal Enfield dealer in South Korea, who imports on request I think. I have seen one RE Standard only once in my stay in South Korea.

PS. You can PM me if I can help you in any possible things in South Korea. I live in Suwon, near Seoul.

Hey Abhishek, nice pictures there. Is it the same place as in the picture below? I was there in Seoul in 2008. Saw this HD dealership on the road and decided to take a picture.
I saw a group of about 15-20 Harley's riding down the street in Gangam one Sunday morning. Tremendous sight (and sound)!
