SuperBike Trip Reading shows 866 while ODO Reading is 865

I was checking out some superbikes for myself and i came across this 2008 R1 which has a Trip Reading of 866 while the ODO shows 865 ...how can this be possible...! do you think the reading might have been altered , or is it possible to alter digital readings ...!

Did the odo show 865.xx ? Usually the trip meter doesn't show meters. SO if the bike has run say 865.98 Kms the Trip may show 866. But we would need to confirm it as I am not very sure.

sorry about the wrong usage of the punctuation.

The trip could have been 866 and odo could be 865.98,but still how could that be possible,wouldn't they be in a synchro,and on those bikes the odo doesn't show in 865.xx,but would be 865 .

I was just worried when i was checking the trip meter and the odo they were confusing.is there a way to check if the odo isn't tampered.is there any possibility of changing the odo.

The trip m,eter & Odo meter are never in sync as they are not supposed to be. But now even I wonder why would the Trip show a km more.
