The Honda NT1100 is a touring motorcycle based on the CRF1100L Africa Twin. It has a stylish fairing with sleek LED headlamps and an adjustable windscreen. It has provisions to mount hardcase panniers in the rear.

The NT1100 is based on a semi-double cradle frame suspended by a 43 mm Showa USD fork in the front and a Showa mono-shock at the rear. Braking is handled by twin 310 mm discs in the front and a single 265 mm disc at the rear.

The NT1100 is powered by a 1,084cc parallel-twin engine that delivers 100 BHP and 116 Nm. The engine is mated to a dual-clutch transmission.

The NT1100 comes with Honda Selectable Torque Control (HSTC), Wheelie Control, riding modes and is equipped with a 6.5-inch digital instrument console offering Apple CarPlay and Android Auto connectivity.

I doubt this will find any takers in India. We are not that mature of a market for this to sell well. If only Honda just re-launched the Africa Twin here.

Honda files patents of different international bikes. This isn't an indication of any launch happening. They patented this bike way back in 2022 as well.

With no disrespect, but if the Versys 1000, Multistrada and the likes of the Triumph Tiger sport can get buyers, then keeping in mind Honda reliability and insanely low cost of maintenance when compared to the others, will surely have takers. I would go for one myself! But like someone mentioned, Honda does a lot of things on paper and brings nothing, so I don't think we will get this anytime soon.

My point is it's too niche of a motorcycle unlike Africa Twin whose name itself will sell the bike with no additional marketing. And there are people I personally know who have been waiting since 2022 for that to be launched again in India.

Re: Honda NT1100 design patent filed in India

These motorcycles have never been known to be pretty, and the Versys 1100 and Yamaha Tracer 9GT are all testaments to that fact - but the Honda NT1100 is weird!

Front half looks similar to the the Honda ADV scooter range for some reason while the rear half is a motorcycle:
