Dropping in Sept? What does that mean?
Is it that they are stopping the sales of the '09 in Sept?

I was told September for the '09 R1 at the Bombay showroom as well. I don't think anyone would buy one during the rainy season and then be frustrated not being able to break in!

Interesting , I also share your views about it being too late.

Cool. Why isn't the owner posting about this? He was interested in some ZX-9 sometime back and now he suddenly has 2 bikes?!

Yes, that is the stock exhaust and its a K5. Similar to the one my friend had. Here is a video I made of the exhaust.

What I meant was, they are probably not launching it now because of the rainy season starting in June. So they must have decided to bring it when the rains are almost over. That way the frustration that builds up in those 3 months would be vented well .

The gixxer belongs to his cousin, and he took delivery of the R1 a couple of days back.

Yeah, its the same bike. After the Hotbodies, my friend put a Laser Hotcam on it because this one was too loud and irritating. It was a good alternative to a horn though .
