agreed, though it would be wise on your part to do some research before calling someone out on what he/she said.
my reply may have been inappropriate,i apologise, but u pissed me off, good job...:P

There's alot of bikes out there and if you really want to learn, start off by understanding spec sheets of motorcycles, first step to being a good mechanic
learning model numbers and identifying motorcycles by the way they look is useless(technically) unless u want to be some kind of historian.

And the best bike does not always produce the best hp ...i feel most noobs think that way
i'm a bit drunk so excuse the write up.
cheers

with you curvehead. i did not mean to call anyone out like you say. i am a believer of being original and like to keep things as they cam by the company. to do research i need to know the exhaust can company names right. will do so the next time.
i do not intend to be a mechanic as i have an excellent team of mechanics with me, but will go through spec sheets. i understand the basics(model no and the way they look) and i think that is enough for me, as i go by the year and rareity of the bike. am a collector not historian.
here is one of them, now the research on this bike will begin.

at the chandni chowk area you had the indians and the harleys which were chopped and turned into tuk tuks (bike engined rickshaws). the tanks were changed to those of the enfeilds and the bullets, so it would be difficult getting a tank in one peice. i would be importing mostly everything from america.
