Lot of bikes have been siezed from dealers here in Pune, last count I heard was almost 40. No individuals have been targeted yet. But some friends bikes which were for servicing have also been picked up. Thats all that I can say for now.

Nothing you can do really, if your bike has good papers you will eventually have a way out even though they may impond it for a couple of weeks.
If your bike is not backed up by proper paperwork then it is all about luck.

Are you sure that's a Harley? It looks more like a Japanese cruiser.

manishasrani: I don't think it's Harley, Sir. It looks like my friend's Yamaha Royal Star but I could be wrong: it's been 3 years since I rode it or even saw it.
If it is, however, it's a V-4 1400. Runs 4 exhaust pipes shotgun each side and weirdly has the timing sequenced to mimic the firing of a Harley. So, though it has the potential (from the design of the engine) to rev smooth, she runs potato-potato.

Shaftie?

Blasts up to 120/130 kmph, then you're up against the wind and find 100cc bikes buzzing about you

I never liked the laser "wannabe MV Arrow" pipes on the R1. The stockers look better!
