Bombay would be number one in the list followed by Bangalore and then maybe Delhi. Pune has quite a few bikes too.

A couple of pics I clicked. Member's bike. Hope he doesn't mind me putting these up without asking him first! Didn't know he was the owner when I clicked.

22 Deg is a very comfortable envelope to be riding in. I sweat and boil and swear under leathers and a helmet.

Let me know if your friend has brought his bike down. If he's willing, I'd love to see it.

I couldn't imagine riding in the blistering heat here in summer, when the mercury tips a 104F.And with my heavy riding gear on,I'll be ready to sit on a platter served 'well-done'.

I'll keep you posted on the 636,Rajeev.

I can't imagine being in leather. Thats impossible. I'm on the lookout for some light riding gear, something with protection.I'll keep my Nitro riding jacket for winters.

Buy mesh gear. Its the cheapest and you will love it in the summer. I usually wear a sleeveless tee inside a mesh jacket. You can also check mesh gloves and pants.

Yeah. It's one contentious issue that extends beyond mere comfort.
I recently opted out of my riding gang in Bangalore just because it became too expensive for me. The group (ex-Red Roosters) democratically voted that all must don full CE-certified riding gear to participate in Sabbath rides, so for me it meant my HiDesign leather jacket and jeans would not work any more and I would have to purchase mesh gear. On top of that came other forced costs like the need to replace my tyres, and I just couldn't afford it any more.

Remember, its not the jacket that is "CE" rated. Its the protective armor that is. So, even mesh jackets come with CE protection.

Straight6 any inputs on where I can find mesh pants?

Check those websites Manson mentioned earlier. Cramster makes a weird looking one. You can try that one if you like it. Riding pants are the only things I don't have right now. Once I get those, I'll have the entire set. You can also try Moto Mania in front of the Post Office on one the main road in Bangalore(I forgot the name). Its close to Indira nagar. Remember he is an official dealer for DSG so the stuff will be expensive. I'd much rather get stuff from the US which turns out to be cheaper even with shipping if you look around.
