Hi Manish,

Any chance of figuring what paint code is on the Blade? Is that the stock paint job or an aftermarket - either way, a paint code would be very welcome.

Thanks
Ravi

Sam,
Thanks for the pics.. but do share your thoughts too.
I am in love with the hyper but i "think" i am vertically challenged to ride this bike in bangalore's traffic off road circuit. I am just shy of 5 feet 8 inches, may i know how tall you are? and how was the ride?

cheers!

Try the scrambler and for sure it should meet your reach limits. Pretty sure you can beef up the power to match Hyper by putting in those juice boxes.

Hi Mahesh!
I Just picked up a ninja 650. so not looking at one immediately. I sold off my duke 200 and i miss the street brawler in my garage. The duke 690 and this hyper check those boxes for me (speaking about a possible future buy). Hence the query. Screw KTM for the no-show on the duke 690.

The scrambler is a real beau-t too. But not thinking of a classic (ish) bike next. PS: you and me have a common bike in our respective garage!

Cheers!

I'm 6'1". And my toes would reach the ground, but putting my foot down completely was an issue (without bending the bike). My uncle is about your height and could reach the ground by bending the bike slightly to the side.

It's a matter of practice really.

The bike itself is not exactly to my liking - it's got the power, don't get me wrong, but it's unrefined. And the switch gear is absolutely of pathetic quality - surprisingly, the switch gear on the Diavel was pretty much the same.

Will post pics of the Diavel soon.

Cheers,
Sam

Had spotted this at a garage in Mysore. The non-starter bike was sold 'as is' to settle some debt. Its been lying disassembled since, with the mechanic still trying to figure out the electricals.

Its a pity to see the 848 in such a condition. This particular bike seems to have been plagued with problems since the time it was bought (I guess). A friend had seen this bike way back in 2008 when it was probably bought.

Was next seen in 2010 at a garage in Lonavala / Khandala where we were told that the bike had broken down and was left there for repairs.

Woah! That's indeed a sad sight. Any idea if the mechanic intends to sell it?

For a naked bike the K1300 looks very busy, I wish more of the suspension was exposed.
