So coming to the service and maintenance, does Honda India help in any way, such as procuring parts, etc. if not carrying out service and repairs?
Nope, Honda doesn't do diddly squat to help. There are several websites to order parts from and you can opt for door delivery (it will cost more, but you get the parts inside a week)

I keep a ton of spares for the bike anyway - front suspension springs, fork seals, head bearing assembly, brake pads, cables, bulbs, gaskets, etc...

Yup, 55 is really just a number. I climb 20 floors every day after my walk, pulse is 62, BP is 105 over 70. I am probably fitter now than when I was 35 The reason I love riding is that it keeps me young in mind and body, I retain a keen sense of balance and the reflexes remain sharp too. Besides, what can equal the joy of riding in the early morning with the wind in your face (well, helmet visor, to be accurate

Re: Triumph Motorcycles @ Auto Expo 2012

Hello Group,

I am a friend of r_nairtvm and ride with him in Dubai.

I'm truly delighted to hear abuot Triumph and their plans for India.

I have a Scrambler and a Thruxton here in Dubai.

I've attached photos of the bikes, it is my daughter who is sitting atop the bikes.

I'll be on stand by mode to help fellow BHP'ians.

Regards,

BB

Nice floaters you have on the bike.

Yup, the stock ones are out and Racefit in. The thing is freakishly loud and insanely lite, weighs just around 900 grams.
