Good decision to buy the efzee, do encourage him to pen his own experience on our Team BHP forum. Also what was the lead time for bike to be delivered?
She does look amazing in white

Congrats to your brother. Hope he has already got his riding gears in place.

AFAIK, there is an FZ-1 in Cochin. Black i guess. He is on xBhp though. Can't recollect his name or ID at the moment. Anyway wishing you brother many happy and safe miles on the new bike.

Have he took the delivery of the bike yet? I was just passing by PSN and there was a white FZ1 on display there. Was that your brother's or a different bike altogether?

The bike took close to 45 days to get delivered, the reason being that the FZ was getting a chng in graphics and the bike was not in stock, the new models had to be shipped once it was booked, but for the R1 there is just a lead time of 2 weeks, as they have stock in delhi.

As much as I'd love to adore the otherwise covered 1300cc mill, he should either put the side shields back on or change the headlamp. Looks like he plonked it onto the bike otherwise! :P

Harley Davidson recently organised a HOG ride here in Ahmedabad soon after the opening of their showroom.

Some pics from the event.

Re: Superbikes spotted in India

Hello,

Could you confirm if your brothers FZ is a 2012 model and it comes with graphics? I too am waiting for my bike ( white colour). I certainly want those graphics on my bike.

Thanks

Aditya,
Am doubtful if the 2012 model has gone through any changes. Globally it has been the same model and no changes at all either in the US/EMEA/APAC region. India gets its models from APAC though.

The graphics (as per uk site) are for fz8 and not fz1 . I am surprised to see them on this bike

Re: Superbikes spotted in India

there is a Yamaha Road Star parked in the next garage to where I park my car. Looks like the bike has not been used from last few years. I will try to take some pictures of the bike and post it here.

I know, even I was doubtful till i saw the images of new FZ1 being readied for PDI at the showroom in Kerala. You see if this bike has graphics then there is no reason why the other bikes which have just landed a week or two ago shouldn't have them...at least that's what i'm hoping!

Besides, this graphic scheme is very close to the FZ8's anniversary edition as Nikhil has rightly pointed out. I have asked my dealer to find out, lets hope I get good news!
