Re: Superbikes spotted in India

@ Sn1p3r : Going very well feel like a kid again every time i get onto that bike! It has that X-factor i think, at least for me.
The Diavel is just amazing, hope you get it soon...

@JVH : i agree, but the wait for my Termignoni is 45 days from today! Its crazy, the dealers don't keep any stock with them for any of the more expensive accessories. So if you want a leather jacket, you cannot try one on before buying for the same reason. Who would spend between Rs25K and Rs38K for a leather jacket without even trying it on??

Which dealer did you contact? I remember the Bangalore dealer pestering me to go for one a month ago...am not sure if he has them in stock anymore.

Yes 30~45 days is the standard time they mention for the parts because everything is ordered only when in demand...weird lol!

On a side note, for a leather jacket I would recommend you Alpinestar or Dainese. At that budget you get excellent top of the line products from them and with regards to the Duc you and I know they definitely are charging for all the accessories. FYI, I checked the jacket @ the Blore dealer

Edit - What all accessories have you bought till now? Please update your thread :-)

Sorry for the OT guys!

These are the Alpinestars S-MX2 boots. Linky. Not listed on the official A* site anymore, i'm guessing this is an old model that has been discontinued.

When we dropped into the Ducati showroom last week, there was a slip-on in stock available for the monster. In fact, the showroom staff pointed it out to me. It was a carbon fiber end pipe, very light and looked nice too.

I saw a black Ducati with the rider in black&red jacket and a pillion at HUDA Gymkhana Sec29 trying to cross towards City center. Looked very handsome bike. I passed too quickly but the bike seemed to be a monster or Diavel. Do we have a Diavel in Gurgaon or I am just dreaming?

Re: Superbikes spotted in India

Couple of Ducati Monster's. Sorry for the crappy pics.

Also saw a red Streetfighter, a red Multistrada and a yellow BMW R1200 GS around the same time, but couldn't snap any of those.

BMW K 1600 GTL on Display @ Atria

Hello folks,

This beast has been kept on display @ Atria Mall, Mumbai (Worli Area). While the pictures do not do justice to how beautiful she looks in flesh, I have tried to capture whatever details I could. The size is huge and I did realize that when I had seen other pics but was a different experience seeing this tourer in person. The only word to describe the bike is "MASSIVE".

Fit and Finish is awesome. Please pardon the picture quality as have clicked them from a cell phone.

Also, there have clicked the BMW 1000RR. Will upload the pictures shortly.

Hey Vishal,

Not sure about the price in India, however while in the US (Mar'2011) we had checked the bike and they had had quoted $25,845 (approximately 11,63,000/-) as the retail price in the states. I am sure it would easily cost at least 18-20 Lakhs here in India.

May be the veterans might be able to shed more light on this.
