No doubt that Hayabusa is a great bike with lot of records on its name so don't get me wrong

I know that some of you won't agree so take this example: Have a look at WSBK Championship Constructor winners from 1995-2010 and count how many times Ducati took the laurels. But again, if you look at the MotoGP is a different story (After years of Honda domination Yam did wonders in the last few years, even though it's facing financial troubles!). Having said that, some might love to debate a company in terms of sales, profits etc. If that's the case then Honda rules the roost. Hence, I don't have much to say about it
WSB was my preference to MotoGP in that one could relate to the bike you ride rather than a prototype. In real terms the series was often referred to as the Ducati series coz when they got beat they wanted the rulings changed every time. The series owner Flamnini then got a one make tyre ruling (Pirelli) had all the hallmarks of the Italian job which led to most Jap manufacturers pulling out of the series leaving Foggy Petronas as the only other pukka works machines. HRC carried on their interest in British Superbikes where Kiyonari had taken his third title with HM Plant Honda. Since Ducati have pulled out maybe we can see the rest returning with full factory support

Yes its a fantastic machine. Unfortunately it will never been seen on our shores from Honda officially since it is now out of production. All the Runes running around the country are private imports.

Re: Superbikes spotted in India

Nice pics Manish. Were you there with these rumblers? The roar of so many Harleys must have been amazing. If you have any more pics do share.

But I really don't like that many of them are without their lids. This is exactly the reason why HOGS get a bad name.

Is this a HOG ride in B'lore? Barring the one white Ducati pic they all looked like Harleys.

Re: Superbikes spotted in India

That's a crazy thing from xbhp. Sunny is doing some promotion again for Videocon and Ducati and some more and got 8 Ducati Monsters and 1 1198S to go around. Once the deal is done, sell them off and make money. Or whatever. Crazy ways of making bikers go crazy for nothing. I'm glad I'm no more active on that forum.

PS: Others, who are both there and here may disagree and it's okay. Let's not start a flame war here.
