Kartik, does the same chap even own a newer 2010 official black Busa, or a red-white R6? Have seen these parked at the same spot in the past.

Last sunday night, I saw a couple of super bikes zipping on the new airport road (NH7). The first one I couldn't recognize (may be a yam or a saki) as my bike ran out of gas & I was pushing to the pump, then the second zipped more like a cruiser model with LED kind of vertical paired-tailamps on either side of the mud-guards, the rider seemed not to having a helmet (or may be using the unsafe hat type), it looked sexy in the night though!

Last night Pinnacle and friends were riding on Marine drive. The busa looks hot in actual and looks very classy in her cloths.

Again no gear and what is that? He is wearing 'chappals' and riding a Gixxer!!
At least he has enough sense to put his helmet on.
One who does not think about his own safety can't think about the safety of other road users and on top of it he is riding a really powerful machine.
Can't some of the Indian superbikers be a bit more responsible?

He might have gone out for a very short ride. Even though the chappals are unpardonable, lets give him a break over the gear!

It can get downright irritating to spend 15 minutes strapping yourself up for a 10-15 minute ride.

Plus if he was doing only regulation speeds, its okay to skimp out on the jacket etc.

What say?

Correct, I personally feel wearing full riding gear in summers when you have to go for short city rides, is irritating. I only wear all my gear when im touring.

The chappals however..

Yeah, you are right on that 'short ride' thing though those chappals are as ridiculous as it can get. I understand it takes sometime putting on all that gear but it doesn't take more than a couple of minutes to put on a pair of shoes.
Its next to impossible for me to shift gears wearing chappals. I do not know how these chaps on superbikes manage.

Regards.
