Guys I guess we are going a bit OFF TOPIC here. So let us discuss about superbike spotting and not about owners.

On the other hand the R1's design is widely accepted and radical. But not half as manageable as the Blade. Confused bigtime !
Dude why bothered about others? Buy that which you want and which you think is good. Just my suggestion.

Expect one by Mid Year
Scorcher friends own both the bikes your looking for and i asked them which is better. If it is out right performance then the R1. if it is performance with slightly better comfort then the 1000rr. If i was you i would go in with the R1 in the litre category, somehow the look of the bike draws you to it. Happy decideing and hope you ride safe when you get her. On a personal note ride both and whichever your more comfortable on get it. Listen to your heart cause everyone else will just add to the confusion. Its like i know i will get the Busa and repaint it to the blue and gold combination.

Funny but the Suzuki website for 07 to 09 does not show this colour scheeme. Yet my all time favourite is the 08 blue with gold wheels and now i am growing into the white with black stickering.

Yes, I'm not bothered about others, but really good friends(especially the ones with a in your face attitude). And you would know my thoughts better as we've been discussing on it outside T-Bhp for sometime now. Anyways, thanks for the support bro. Will come up with something heart-warming

.
Thanks for the concern bro, really kind of you. In fact, my mind is also telling me the same sorts. And, I'll most probably end up with the R.

The thing is that my cousin who is one among the first Super-bikers of the town(read, a veteran) who has owned both the Blade and R is forcing me to go for the Blade for the manageability factor. I'm like "Get a life dude, I know what I want" but he refuses to agree. Darn !

Underline - Ok, I just decided my bike. It is going to be a Yamaha R1 in White/Red combo(is First Preference. Or any other according to availability and appearance). Thanks Abhi and Rob. Choosing the bike never felt so easy ! Love you guys !

I expect to get hold of one by Mid-Year. Completely my take, don't know of the availability status from the dealer. Will keep you all posted.

Thanks Rotorhead. It sure looks Haute in white. I somehow do not have a preference to Black when it comes to Cars n Bikes, so this color for 2010 model was god send

I hope you have no problem maintaining your baby in white.
Treat her well buddy, ride safe!
Cheers!

OT:
Have the discontinued the golden-black combination?
That was my favourite colour combo.
Thanks Preetam. White is wee bit difficult to maintain, but im sure gonna spend a lot of time maintaining it and looking after her well
The Gold Black combo was only for 2009
They dont have it anymore
I had seen that in flesh and it looks awesome. That was my second choice.

Straight, for 2010 they have just launched the pearl white and black red combo. The Navy Blue is not going to be launched for India market

If you dont mind my asking and feel free not to answer. Is the bike on finance or out right purchase and what is it costing you as in Down payment and instalments if on finance. Dont mean to offend you in anyway, just wanted to know so that i know how much to save . Thank you.

You mean the black/grey combo with gold lettering. Where do you see the 10 colour scheemes. The suzuki website only shows till 09 yet.
Thanks Speedy. I concur with you on the comfy part of Busa. Will PM you the costing part.

Don't know if it has been posted before. Saw them in my friend's apartment. The red one looked superbly maintained.

Sorry I forgot to add the pics in the first post.
