2025 Kawasaki Z900 and Z900SE unveiled

Kawasaki has updated the Z900 family for 2025. Both bikes continue to be powered by a Euro5+ compliant 948cc four cylinder engine, however it has been fitted with new electronic throttle valves, updated camshaft profiles, and new ECU settings.

Peak power drops from 125hp to 122hp @ 9500RPM, torque is marginally down from 98Nm to 97Nm @7700RPM.
The new cam profiles result in a 16% improvement in fuel economy as well as increased torque at lower RPMs as per Kawasaki.
Braking is handled by Nissin four piston radially mounted calipers while the Z900 SE gets a Brembo four piston caliper.
Inclusion of IMU adds new cornering riding aids and cruise control.

The long awaited quickshifter finally makes it's way to the Z900?

That was a sorely lacking feature that the competition had for ages.

The gold colored suspension, even aggressive face, beefed up tank, Titanium-SS colored tank, better/rick looking green paint- The Z 900 SE looks absolutely dope.

Is it just me or did the old Z900 look better?

This is the most useful update they can bring to a kawasaki. Hope they update the older bikes with a new firmware.

Currently kawasaki utilization of the TFT and n number of buttons is, softly put, disappointing. I will appreciate this navigation coming to previous generation bikes.
