Triumph Motorcycles has reduced the prices of the Street Triple R by up to Rs 48,000.



The Street Triple R is now priced at Rs 9.95 lakh (ex-showroom) for the Pure White and Silver Ice colours, while prices of the Matt Baja Orange and Crystal White versions have been reduced by Rs 22,000 to Rs 10.21 lakh.

Triumph has also revised the prices of the top-spec Street Triple RS. The Phantom Black, Carnival Red and Cosmic Yellow versions now cost Rs 12.21 lakh, which is Rs 14,000 more than before, while the price of the Silver Ice version has been reduced by Rs 12,000 to Rs 11.95 lakh (ex-showroom).

The Triumph Street Triple range uses a 765cc, inline 3-cylinder engine. The On the Street Triple R, it develops 118.4 BHP @ 11,500 rpm and 80 Nm @ 9,500 rpm. The engine is tuned to produce 128.2 BHP @ 12,000 rpm on the RS version, while torque remains the same.

No change in Street Triple prices - Triumph clarifies

Triumph has released an official statement to address recent reports regarding a price drop for the Street Triple R and Street Triple RS models. According to the bike maker, there has been no change in the prices of these models.



"The reported price drop was due to a glitch on Triumph Motorcycle's official website. This technical issue has since been corrected," the company said.

"Triumph Motorcycles apologizes for any confusion caused by the glitch," the statement added.

Earlier, it was reported that the prices of the Street Triple R had been slashed by up to Rs 48,000. Prices of the top-spec RS version were also revised. However, the company has now confirmed that the Street Triple 765 R is priced at Rs 10.17 lakh, while the Street Triple 765 RS costs Rs 11.81 lakh (ex-showroom).
