Rumour: 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R launching this festive season

According to a media report, Kawasaki is likely to launch the latest iteration of the Ninja ZX-10R around this festive season.

The Ninja ZX-10R is available in 'Standard' and 'KRT' variants, with the latter featuring the striking Kawasaki Racing Team livery. The superbike is based around a twin-spar, cast aluminium frame, suspended by a fully-adjustable Showa USD fork at the front and a monoshock at the rear.

Powering the Ninja ZX-10R is a screaming 998cc, inline 4-cylinder engine paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The engine puts out 200 BHP and 114.9 Nm. An additional 10 BHP can be achieved courtesy of the ram air duct.

The Ninja ZX-10R comes with features such as riding modes, traction control, engine brake control, and cruise control. The superbike is equipped with twin 330 mm discs at the front and a 220 mm disc at the rear, supported by ABS.

The blacked out color variant looks really appealing.

Re: Rumour: 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R launching this festive season

Just like the US market, the EU market too gets only the updated KRT scheme for 2025 while the non-KRT black remains the same as the 2024 model.

So we will also be getting the new KRT and the same 'Metallic Graphite Gray / Metallic Diablo Black' from 2024

I just don't understand why Kawasaki releases a separate color scheme for North America. It would have been nice to get the blacked out one in the other markets too.

Anyway I hope Kawasaki continues with the 5 year cycle and this is the last color change for this model. Would be good to have an all new model for MY 2026.
At least the 10R and ZH2 deserve the SPIN TFT system from H2SX. The current TFT is too ordinary for top of the line bikes.

Re: Rumour: 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R launching this festive season

I picked up an MY25 ZX10R from Kawasaki Cochin. There is a price increase of a whopping 2L plus on road.
1.7L is the ex showroom increase. This is not officially out by Kawasaki yet, but dealers are aware and are taking booking only for the new amount. 18.5L is the new ex-showroom.
Did not like the color at first and was actually planning to cancel the booking if I dont get MY24. But one glance in real changed that thought.
Special thanks to the Kawasaki Cochin sales team for making it easier for me, despite me being from another city. One call sealed the deal.

Let me be the first to congratulate you on your new purchase, and hope you put on tens of thousands of KM on it, if not more.

Is this going to be the Repsol's garage mate or is it a replacement? I have heard the Honda is a more versatile bike, but the ZX10R is more focused, newer and more tech laden.

Needless to say I envy you (but not in the first 1000km run in period)

Congratulations!!!

Wishing you thousands of miles of happy ownership! Going by your Honda ownership - pretty sure this one would be properly used too!

The new colour is really growing on me too and looks better in these real images than the white background press images that originally came out. Hoping to see one in person soon!

Re: Rumour: 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R launching this festive season

Congratulations for new possession!!

This color scheme is much better than what we had in 2021. Eventually, more you ride her, more you will fall in love with her. Having owned one(2019 honeycomb edition), for 11k kms ,I can vouch for the adrenaline you are going to experience with ZX10R.

I hope, you already have plans for track days with ZX10R.Only on track, you will really be able to appreciate what these litre class bikes are capable of. Wish you thousands of safe miles!!

Hearty Congratulations @Xaos636!!
This is going to be the 2nd bike common between us after the CBR650F!!

I think I picked it at the right time. I think this new color scheme will look great in real life and under shining sun.

Wishing you many Happy KMs with her. Keep us posted on the future updates!!

Re: Rumour: 2025 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R launching this festive season

Does it make sense to go for a brand-new ZX10 now?
As it's the last year of its generation. I'm guessing, by the end of 2025 we will get the completely updated ZX10.

Completely depends on you and how long are you willing to wait. If they do launch it, it will come to India maybe in later first half of next year. We don't even know the pricing and what changes will that bike carry at this point.

My advice in case you are ready to buy now, would be to go buy a new one today and start enjoying riding, rather then delaying 14 to 16 months waiting for a new model, which might or might not come.

Is that a given? They have moved on from WSBK as a factory effort and let Bimota fill in with 10RR engines. Not entirely sure that there might be a new ZX10R in the horizon. Internationally, Japanese 1000 supersports are going extinct one by one.
