She has no electronics whatsoever. She is scary fast and lifts the front wheel of the ground in any gear. The speeds it achives are effortless and can easily decive you into thinking you are at a lower speed till you look down at the speedo. I am actually SCARED of the bike. The bike is super light and nimble. The only drawback is getting stuck in city traffic with the rapid snatchy throttle response and the engine heat melting your riding your gear and the proverbial family jewels (pun not intended).
And the Kiska design ,pure origami. She is art. The Lamborghini of motorcycles. The only other bike that is more gorgeous in the sharpness is the Kawasaki H2/R.
I get the bike maintaince done at Vperformence, Indiranagar, Bangalore with Vikas who is a good friend of mine. I get the parts( eg filters ,spark plugs ) shipped from Germany on a annual basis from a rider friend over there. It costs me 25 to 30K a year for the basic maintenance.
Someday I will write a detailed review and my thoughts on the bike .
She is a keeper like my Daytona to be buried with me.
I have seen this at Vikas's and drooled a couple of liters over it . Amazing machine and kudos to you for getting it registered as an RC8 instead of random ktm model

At this point, you should move legally. They are valuing your life by continuously giving the bike back with faults.
Consult a good lawyer and file a case. Since they haven't yet supplied the invoice, they will get in trouble.

At this point, just move ahead legally. The only thing triumph can do is to delay the case a bit as with all things in court. With the amount of proof you have gathered, it will be a field day for your lawyer.

Re: How Triumph India and Keerthi Triumph Bangalore DESTROYED my CBU Daytona 675R

Extremely disheartening to hear of issues again!

Please don't go for legal action when the bike is with them. That effectively leaves it at their mercy thanks to our legal system delays.

Re: How Triumph India and Keerthi Triumph Bangalore DESTROYED my CBU Daytona 675R

It is really unfortunate that the issue remains unresolved as of today. I had advised you when we met that you have to trust our legal system and proceed by filing a consumer case. But I seriously did not understand your unwavering faith on Keerthi Triumph back then, and I do not understand it now either. Also it is beyond my comprehension as to why you are hesitant to approach appropriate legal forum. You would have been awarded the invoice cost along with harassment costs and litigation expenses long ago. But I sincerely hope and pray that your issues will get addressed soon.

Re: How Triumph India and Keerthi Triumph Bangalore DESTROYED my CBU Daytona 675R

Keerthi Triumph must have a whole roster of botched repair jobs by now. It is surprising that even Triumph India is being shifty. I think you'd be better off taking your motorcycle to a renowned FNG. May I suggest Indimotard? They're really professional and most importantly- know what they're doing.

I think your Daytona has endured enough mechanical abuse (and the wrong kind too!).

SUPER ANGRY and AGITATED with the experience, this is absolutely not acceptable. Not something to expect after Triumph India plant intervention and assurances.

Theyhave not shared the invoice /bill, parts replaced, parts repaired and engine work done either
This is some ordeal you are going through brother. The only solution now is to send a legal notice, i believe. Showrooms washing hands off is one thing but the manufacturer showing this kind of apathy is criminal. I myself am looking at a street triple for my next ride, but now am having second thoughts.

Re: How Triumph India and Keerthi Triumph Bangalore DESTROYED my CBU Daytona 675R

Looks like my battle with Keerthi has begun!

I own a Street Twin since 2020 and the overall experience has been great!!

I was on the return leg from a breakfast ride in Bangalore and that's when I faced this "missing throttle" issue for the 1st time which was in mid-2021, the bike was towed to Keerthi and then the service manager- Gautham, got the issue fixed free of cost. For about a year, there was no issue at all until that day when I was out on a long ride to Kerala & was in between Wayanad Ghat and Calicut, had just refueled and was enjoying the ride in the drizzle and there it is!! no pick-up at all in the lower end and the bike was jerking and struggling to move as I accelerated and the exhaust note had changed significantly, luckily I had friends who were helpful, and got the RSA done to the nearest SC, which is in Kochin!

They inspected the Bike, and called to inform me that the Oil level was low! ( I never got Low-Oil light at all ) & coz of which bike heated up a lot one of the Spark-Plug malfunctioned! and they didn't mention the throttle body at all!

The bike was almost due for its next service and hence I opted for the same and replaced the Spark Plug too! The bike was towed back to me in Calicut at my expense and I started my backward journey to Bangalore, I knew from the get-go the issue was NOT completely gone! but it was a smooth ride overall. 4 months passed by a few rides here and there and the bike kept reminding me that the issue was still there but never to that serious extent until that day!!

Luckily this time the issue came up within Bangalore itself and I could easily ride back home and booked the RSA for the next day. I got a call from Keerthi to confirm the same and upon reaching I realized, after seeing the ocean of 400s parked in front of the SC that they are not equipped to handle the load. Meanwhile, I had written to Triumph India regarding the issue & how SCs are unable to fix it and I received the Complaint ID too.

I was given the stepmom treatment since I had looped Triumph India, None from the service team were ready to even talk to me! They were passing the message through the receptionist!! and was told They could not accept the bike without a prior appointment!
I was asked to wait for 15 minutes as they didn't have anyone from the Service team to issue the job card!. After 30 minutes I went back to them asking for the same and the receptionist suggested I leave, if I was in a hurry as it would take some time ( Lunch hours ), I left after taking some photographs of the bike.

It's been 4 days and they have called twice, once to check on the issue & a second time to inform me that they are running some tests as suggested by Triumph India and I haven't received the job card details at all

Upon multiple unanswered calls finally they updated me that the issue was with the Oxygen Sensor! and they are trying their best to get the same replaced under warranty!

I'm praying that my bike comes back to me in good shape.

It turned from bad to worse!

After a week's effort on my bike from Keerti folks the issue is still unresolved!

Keerti told me that the O2 sensor is unavailable with them and they will check the same with other service centers here in India & if they are unable to procure from them, they will have to place the order in the UK, and in that case, I will have to wait for 2-3months!

the next day, they said they had placed the order in the UK as the part is unavailable here! I was worried and tried to reach out to one of my old contacts from Mumbai Triumph and to my shock, they had the part! I called back Keerthi to confront and they played the fool and finally said they had placed the order with Mumbai folks itself and the part is in-transit!

Another 2 days passed by, got a call from Keerthi confirming the bike was ready for delivery! I reached the SC, paid the 17K bill ( my mistake ), and then got the bike out and started riding back home & I was bewildered to see the issue with pick-up/acceleration was still there!!! Parked the bike near the Keerthi showroom and called them and 2 folks from SC reached the spot and started talking about the issue!

Here I realised a few things-
- This is the 1st time someone from the Technical team has talked to me
- They lied to me about the Test ride after replacing O2 sensor
- He was unaware of the actual issue my bike had! I understood this as I was explaining the issue he kept mentioning about the "Check Engine" light is not ON and that's what he worked on!
- O2 sensor replacement has nothing to do with the Jerking issue I had and they had made me pay 17K unnecessarily, all these happened as none from the Technical team spoke to me as I had looped Triumph India! and Keerthi folks hate it!
- I explained the actual issue to the guy and he took the bike back to SC

I have asked them to replace the O2 sensor and refund me the amount!

Now, my wait continues!

What is really wrong with Keerthi and Triumph? I have never heard of so many continuous harrowing stories about one brand and yet no correction at all in an age where customer experience is the start and end game for most consumer brands. I own a Street Twin too and now I have the chills. No wonder the RE guys are laughing all the way to the showroom floor.

What are these guys high on!? Whatever it is, they should hand it out to their customers to ease their pain. JK XP
You know, I was seriously considering getting a Street Triple RS, and I'm glad I caught this thread in time. I'm sorry that you had to face this, and as a fellow enthusiast, it pains me to see your bike in that condition(that too a Daytona 675R!). I hope you take these buggers to court for what they have done to you financially(and more importantly emotionally).

It's really unfortunate that the people involved here don't provide the necessary care and attention that these exotics deserve here in India. At least after hearing about all this, Triumph India should've properly stepped in and done something about it . But the fact that Triumph India has been party to all this is just ridiculous! Just speaks volumes about their organization and how much they care about their patrons. I hope it all works out in your favour in the end.

Really shocking to read this. I just don't understand the problem with Keerthi Triump! How can they be so opposed to taking care of their customers. My friend is going to book a Street Twin with them next week, I'll make sure he reads this before and then decide.
