2023 Suzuki Hayabusa launched at Rs 16.90 lakh

Suzuki has launched the 2023 edition of its legendary Hayabusa in India. The superbike is priced at Rs 16.90 lakh (ex-showroom, Delhi).

Suzuki has made a few changes to the Hayabusa for the 2023 model year. The bike is now OBD2-A compliant, which is necessary under the new RDE regulations.

The 2023 Hayabusa gets dual-tone bodywork with contrasting colours for the parts around the front air intakes, side cowlings and the rear section. The bike is now available in three colour options: Metallic Thunder Gray / Candy Daring Red, Metallic Mat Black No. 2 / Glass Sparke Black and Pearl Vigor Blue / Pearl Brilliant White.

Powering the Hayabusa is the familiar 1,340cc, inline 4-cylinder engine. It develops 190 BHP and 142 Nm. The engine is paired with a 6-speed gearbox. The bike retains the same suspension and braking setup as before.

I think this bike has looked the same since it's introduction and it's one of the very few vehicles where I hope it remains that way. Any radical attempts at changing the design will end in disaster.

I have booked the grey-red tone in Mumbai and awaiting delivery by end of Aug / early Sep.
PI from dealer mentions 15K logistic charges, 67K for 5yrs 3P and 1yr zero dep insurance. There's also 3.5K RTO handling cum facilitation charges. Don't know how much of these could be negotiated.

I'm planning to buy some basic R&G protectors and sliders for the bike from Custom Elements.
Still undecided on R&G tail tidy though.

Hi, any update on your bike delivery? Dealer has conveyed to me that wait time might stretch to late october early november, due to some homologation issues.

Expected to arrive at dealership in next few days. Feeling excited!
