2023 BMW S 1000 RR India launch on December 10

According to a media report, BMW Motorrad India is set to launch the 2023 S 1000 RR on December 10.

The 2023 S 1000 RR made its global debut in September. BMW’s flagship superbike gets a few chassis tweaks, a more powerful engine and a revised aero package.

The new S 1000 RR has a slightly longer wheelbase, a revised rake angle and a longer trail. Also, the frame now allows more lateral flex, which is said to aid stability. The bike gets winglets that generate 10 kg of downforce at speed.

Powering the S 1000 RR is a 999cc, inline 4-cylinder engine that now produces 207 BHP and 113 Nm. It is mated to a 6-speed gearbox. The superbike comes equipped with an updated traction control system with a new Slide Control function.

What a beautiful bike, I need to buy this before I turn 45!!

Hopefully kidney survives till then and can be sold!

Hopefully BMW keeps the pricing close to current prcing.

Bike launched today, Price hike has been nominal with an increase of 50K variant to variant.

Price now starts @20.25 lacs for standard version compared to 19.75 lacs EX-Showroom compared to previous model.

Standard @ 20.25 lacs
Pro @ 21.65 lacs
M-Sport @ 23.95 lacs

I think price hike is ok, and this is still one of my favorite bikes to get someday.

2023 BMW S 1000 RR launched at Rs. 20.25 lakh

BMW Motorrad has launched the 2023 S 1000 RR in India. The superbike is available in three variants: standard, Pro and Pro M Sport, with prices starting at Rs 20.25 lakh (ex-showroom).

The 2023 BMW S 1000 RR gets a few cosmetic updates with a revised aero package. The bike comes with aero winglets as standard. These are said to generate 10 kg of downforce.

The S 1000 RR also gets an updated engine. It is the same 999cc, inline 4-cylinder block, but it now produces 206.5 BHP @ 13,750 rpm and 113 Nm @ 11,000 rpm. The engine is mated to a 6-speed gearbox.

Riders can choose from four standard modes: Rain, Road, Dynamic and Race. Additionally, Race Pro modes are available as an option. The bike also gets electronic rides aids like traction control, slide control function, hill start control, launch control, pit lane limiter, bidirectional quick-shifter and ABS with brake slide control.
