MV Agusta unveils its 2021 Brutale 1000 RR with 208 BHP

Italian superbike manufacturer, MV Agusta, has unveiled the 2021 Brutale 1000 RR globally. The updated version of the street naked superbike now comes with a host of new features, along with a Euro-5 compliant engine. The motorcycle is priced at 32,300 Euros (Rs 28.70 lakh).

The 2021 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR is powered by a 998cc in-line 4-cylinder liquid-cooled engine. It produces 208 BHP @ 13,000 rpm and 116.5 Nm @ 11,000 rpm. The updated engine now comes with sintered valves, DLC tappets and a slightly redesigned exhaust, allowing it to comply with the stringent emission norms. The engine is further paired to a 6-speed gearbox with an electronically-assisted bi-directional quick-shifter.

In terms of design, the 2021 Brutale 1000 RR carries forward the aggressive styling from its previous models. It features LED headlamps with integrated LED DRLs, a sculpted fuel tank, an aggressive riding position with rear-set footpegs, LED tail lights and quad exhaust tips.

MV Agusta also offers the Brutale 1000 RR with a 5.5-inch TFT instrument cluster with Bluetooth navigation and a built-in Mobistat tracker. It also features cornering ABS from Continental, IMU, traction control and wheelie control; among a host of other riding aids.

The 2021 MV Agusta Brutale 1000 RR comes with Ohlins 43 mm upside-down forks at the front and a mono-shock at the rear. Both offer complete adjustability, along with electrically controlled compression and rebound. Braking on the motorcycle is via dual 320 mm discs at the front and a single 220 mm disc at the rear.

The motorcycle rides on 17-inch forged aluminium alloy wheels with 120/70 and 200/55 tyre profile at the front and rear, respectively. The Brutale 1000 RR also comes with a kerb weight of just 186 kg and has a fuel tank capacity of 16 litres.

One gorgeous looking motorcycle. The first time I ever saw an MV Agusta was the F4 in 'The Dark Knight' and, my oh my, I was smitten. The Brutale 1000 RR takes things several notches up. The Italians are masters of designing motorcycles that are sexy, unforgiving and 'Brutal'. Thanks for sharing!

Although the bike is good overall, that rear tail lamp is not my cup of tea. Hope there is some alternative kit for that. Sharing an advertisement video of the same below.
