The street fighter V4 has a different engine tune then the Panigale V4 and due to the nature of the engine the peak torque actually comes in at 1500 rpm higher than the Panigale V4.
Not a good thing for a naked. It is in fact the biggest down side of this bike. You have to be really up into the rpm range to have any fun with it. Again, a counter productive move in a naked. It should actually be the other way round, cut the top end and improve the ride-ability at lower and mid end.
Coming to the Super Duke R, it is the finest naked in the world. The Bar against which all other nakeds are measured, this Ducati included. Its actually not always just the figures. Its how those numbers interact with the chassis and electronics to provide a sublime experience. They have updated the Duke for 2020. It now has 108 lb-ft at 8000 rpm. More importantly, 89 lb-ft at just 4500 rpm.
Even more so, as a package, the Duke is untouchable. I often say it is the bike that Satan prefers. That is how satanic read insanely fun it is to ride.
