Now the vloggers have started getting their hands on the 900RS.
This guys enthusiasm in particular, is addictive - "Sleeper of a beast" :D

This is a wonderful, wonderful bike. Managed to click these pics at the MCN Show in London last weekend.
The original, the grand-daddy:

Just look at it, so timeless and elegant.
The engine fins:
and now Z900RS in all its glory:
It feels amazing to sit on, it quite low too so no problems for the shorter riders and the fairer sex.
Guess, this can the ONE bike that can do it all.
Cheers

This is nuts. I was hoping for an 8-9 lakh rupee price tag. There go my plans for this one. I still hope there's been some mistake. :-( What a stupid way to kill something that could have gotten scores of Bonneville buyers jumping ship.
Cheers,
Jay
What! :Shockked:
7.68L for the Z900. 8.5L or maximum 9L for the Z900RS. And it had the potential to be one of the best selling retro themed bikes in the country, by miles.
15.3 lakhs! They must be smoking something really potent. The most eagerly awaited bike of this year (atleast for me) and they ruin it beyond limits of reasoning. :Frustrati
And its not even a joke -

This is an insanely exorbitant pricing. This could be blamed on the fact that they are getting it as a CBU from Japan and even after the tax cut, the price is high! I so wanted to buy this bike but seems I would have to wait till they import the CKD kit from Thailand. Till then the Z900 Rs doesn't make any sense.

What!!! Like, are they really crazy?? Ain't this pricing almost double as that of the Z900?
All of a sudden, the Triumph is looking more VYM with their prices.
There is hope then - am hoping for CKD soon enough.
This is the most ridiculous pricing I have seen on any Kawasaki till date. Makes better sense to buy the Triumph Bonneville at almost half the price. Dead On Arrival - is all what I have to say.
Good show Kawasaki :uncontrol
Almost as if lead by the Satan, once in a while every manufacturer does a blunder like this, and today its Kawasaki's turn.
Good timeless design - Check
Decent engine - Check
Good power delivery - Check
Retro charm - Check
In-line 4 exciting soundtrack - Check
Accessible seat height - Check
Heritage and associated nostalgic feel - Check
Hilarious, ridiculous, unbelievably funny and silly pricing - Check lol:
I really think there is a typing mistake. Ridiculous to say the least. The only real competition for the Street twin has priced themselves out of the window. Man, forget the Street Twin, you could pick up a juicy Thruxton R with some money to spare. Love for my Bonnie increases further
I am heart-broken. Was really looking-up to this one and at this price point, i am not even going to go to the showroom to check it out. Sold my bonnie A3 couple of weeks back and this was one of the strong contender for the next bike. Dream shattered. Dont see no logic in this price, worst than the versys 300X pricing. Could have simply not launched it here if they did not intend to sell. :Frustrati Am so angry with kawasaki, i think i will sell my versys in protest.
Looking forward to interceptor 650 now!!
I feel Kawasaki is testing Indian waters. Get few pieces, see how market responds and if they see good potential, assemble locally and reduce the price. Unfortunately some will end up buying at inflated price.

I hope no one has to pay this outrageous price for the bike. This is just ridiculous, at one hand we have the Ninja 1000 which is the most VFM sportbike right now and on the other hand we have this and its taller cousin the versys x300. Idiotic moves by whoever is incharge of the pricing. The Z900RS and the Versys x300 both could have been so much better if they had thought it out a bit better.
No point in selling it more than 10lac Ex-showroom, which itself is a bit on the higher side.
Seems like Kawa is not looking at volumes with this model. This must be quite popular overseas and must be generating the volumes there itself. By getting it to India, they are just expanding their portfolio on paper and also catering to those few who are ready to put down 15L+ for this bike.
