MV Agusta Brutale 800 launched @ 15.59 lakh MV Agusta Brutale 800 launched in India at Rs 15.59 lakh Pan India Quote:
Changes to the Brutale 800 over the older motorcycle include a revised chassis that adds a bit more of trail and longer wheelbase too. Fully adjustable upside-down 43mmMarzocchi shocks handle the suspension duties in the front while the rear gets Sachs fully adjustable units. Two 300mm discs in the front and a 220mm single disc at the rear help shed speed. ABS is standard too. Other suite of electronics includeMVICS which add engine brake control, 8-level traction, 3-level ABS and more. The motorcycle sits on Pirelli Diablo Rosso IIIs.
The engine of the MV Agusta Brutale 800 has been updated for the model year. It offers 110PS at 11,500rpm along with 'record' maximum torque as MV calls it - 83Nm at just 7,600rpm. MV Agusta underlines that this is a 25 per cent rise over the older model, and that over the torque is over 75Nm from 3,800rpm onwards. As usual, the engine has a counter-rotating crankshaft which reduces the inertia a rider has to overcome when making direction changes.
