Hi Pramods.
Sorry I feel what you are saying and I was going to take the same route two years ago. You see Navnit was importing bikes and adding own costs and whatever profits and selling them as they were always in demand taking care of any inward formalities.
When Ducati MS and Triumph Tiger came to India it really made me hold my decision of buying the GSA1200 as I was sure BMW Motorrad will enter India soon.
Now to remain competitive they have chosen the SE Asian- Thailand route where India has trade agreements and import duty is less.
Currently iam on the verge of finalising the GSA but only 6 months ago BMW launched two new models of the GS 1200. The Rallye and the Exclusive and new colour schemes too. I will wait till these come to India.
Regarding Navnit I feel the dealership is little high headed. I will be more than happy to take home my GS from any other new Motorrad dealer than Navnit. |
