Raghu on the move the N1000 hides its weight well and even at the track the bike is quite a sweet performer. Surprising considering the geometry and weight it carries.

I have ridden the naked GSX at MMSC for a lap or two and the bike is very impressive. Good handling and power but the throttle on-off is really twitchy making it irritating at times. Overall it was a fun bike to ride.

50-60k I'm told. Comes with ABS now as well. And sportier riding posn.

That's a very reasonable jump in price considering it's almost an all new bike. I quite love it's instrument console.
And with ABS it's a complete bike, perhaps can be the one biggish bike for all purposes.

it looks much better now (justifying the Ninja name actually) and the engine is supposed to be smoother and brakes to be better.

Pricing is also good considering that there is no good bike in this price range. Hopefully the Kawasaki's own sales and service will be good since their collaboration with Bajaj is no more :(

That's a bargain considering the new bike has all the below advantages over the old one -

1. ABS.
2. Assist + slipper clutch.
3. Better brakes
4. Better looks.
5. Better handling.
6. 21kg less weight with new trellis frame.
7. Digital console with gear indicator etc.
8. Smoother engine.

Infact, it does look rather competitive against the CBR650F now, which is priced almost 2 lakhs more with the primary advantage being the inline4 engine.

Completely agree, even with the 2 PS power drop, the bike should do much better in acceleration, braking, handling and even the efficiency thanks to the weight reduction of 21 KGs.

Kawasaki should somehow make the exhaust note appealing, its too bland

I don't think a race track is the ideal place for the Ninja 650, the new bike seems like a huge leap over the 2016 model. Love the way 2017 bike looks, the design language is akin to the ZX10R which is a good thing.

I somehow dont like the green and black color combo. An all black edition will be brilliant.

The bike with so many improvements available at the current prices makes it a sweet deal for sure.
