Aditya, With Keerti Triumph in Bangalore, I would say that this has been a practice rather than an exception and I at least have been pleasantly surprised by this attitude from them time and again (not that I've had any major issues with the bike till date - keeping my fingers crossed)

Three Cheers to Keerti and the Team haeded by Prasanna.

As you mentioned get the wiring sorted and through another switch

Best Regard & Ride Safe

Ram

re: A much needed upgrade | Triumph Bonneville comes home | EDIT: Sold (page 9)

Been a while since I posted an update.

The horn has packed up and tweaking the tuning screw does not help as the horn eventually stops working. Other than this, the bike is running flawlessly and is nearing the 30,000 kms mark.

As a quick-fix, I am contemplating buying a single horn such as Roots/Hella to replace the faulty one but was toying with the idea of dual horns.

I know a wiring harness/relay is required for dual horn setup. If anyone has done so on their Bonneville, could you please post a link to the thread/article? Thanks!

I didn't want to change the wiring to accommodate the dual horns on my Bonnie and I wanted to keep the look clean so I opted for the Denali Soundbomb Mini. I bought it online on BigBadBikes.

https://bigbadbikes.com/product/dena...omb-mini-horn/

It is plug and play and I installed it myself. I like the sound and it is loud enough for my use but not too loud. It blends into the bike, seems extremely well built and has been working flawlessly for a year.

Thanks for the quick reply. I presume this can be fitted on the stock horn location?

I have done the dual horn setup myself in my Bonnie. Its pretty straightforward and looks stock as well. Please see Post#941 in the link below

Yes. I fitted it on the bracket on which the OEM horn was installed. Slightly fiddly because the existing wire has very little play but no real issue.

Thanks for the responses. For the time being, I got a pair of minda dual horns (the ones that are OEM on the pulsar) installed on the bike.

Needed to get this sorted out asap as I use the bonnie to commute to work.

re: A much needed upgrade | Triumph Bonneville comes home | EDIT: Sold (page 9)

Been ages since I've updated this thread.

After a few years of blissful and absolutely enjoyable time with my Bonnie, I have decided to put her up on sale and join the ADV bandwagon.

Here is the link to the ad on the forum's classifieds page - https://classifieds.team-bhp.com/buy...nneville.html/.

The bike is extremely well cared for and cherished. My biker friends here can vouch for the condition and my obsessive caring for the bike.

I stay in South Bangalore and if anyone is interested, please reach out to me via PM.

Please do pass the word around in your circles. I'd like the bike to go to an equally loving and caring owner.

re: A much needed upgrade | Triumph Bonneville comes home | EDIT: Sold (page 9)

After more than 7 years of ownership, my bonnie goes to a new home today.

Had wonderful times with her and countless memorable rides with my best buddies, my last ride on this was to Goa.

I will miss the brutal acceleration, the mad growl when the throttle was opened, pops and bangs from the exhaust when you roll off the gas.

Photos from my Goa ride last month:

Why did you sell it? I have the same one (in black) that I got in 2014 - the first Bonnie sold in Delhi in fact. I plan to keep it forever. It’s such a classic already, being the last of the air-cooled greats. And it’s snatchy throttle and mad acceleration pulls my heartstrings more than even the more powerful T120. Well, I hope the new owner realises how lucky he is.

Hi. Saw you had a King and queen seat. Was it the official one or did you get it from the aftermarket?

This was the official accessory which the previous owner had bought and installed.
