Triumph recalls Daytona 675 R over faulty rear suspension

British motorcycle manufacturer Triumph, has issued a recall for 34 units of the Daytona 675 R in India. Bikes in the VIN range 642869 - 703908, have a problem with the rear suspension. The TTX36 shock absorber, which is manufactured by Ohlins, has a manufacturing defect.

Triumph has advised owners not to ride their bikes until they are checked. Dealers will be calling each customer individually for an inspection. If necessary, the shock absorber will be replaced free of cost.

Owners can visit the Ohlins website confirm whether their bikes need to be attended to by entering the six digit batch number, marked on the cylinder head of the shock absorber.
