Ah, I see. I'm fairly confident that the other bike was a Speed/Street Triple.

Anyways, hope you get to ride it soon. If luck persists, might even catch you around sometime
Cheers.

Nowhere and everywhere lol. I mean, I frequent Pune a lot and while up there, hang around the Kothrud/Katraj/Narhe area.

I envy thee !!! Great route and Great pictures. Love the way the green mixes into the surroundings !

A briefing on the place of each of those photos would be nice, especially the second one, the awesome hair pin !

Awesome Pics! As Sojogator said, the 2nd one, water falls & last one are too good. I cant wait to buy a z800 now :-) , waiting for some changes to happen in my job and so I will have some leverage.

I liked these the most. #2 is the most obvious choice for that sweet hairpin. You should've featured the Z in the other two pictures too. I enjoy watching the videos too mate

You can't go wrong with it. Just do it (as Shia Labeouf would say)

The second pic in your picks (#4) does have the Z in it

My bad. I didn't think about it when posting it.

Then again, I could also acquit myself by saying that I meant the other two pics!

Re: My Mean Green 2015 Kawasaki Z800

guys, does anyone know if the Z1000's RVM can be fitted onto the Z800? it appears to be a simple screw on type, but my assumptions may be wrong. I'm asking this because the owners of the bike and the official reviews on youtube state that the RVMs of the Z800 are narrowly placed and most suggest the RVM extenders. That spoils the stance of the bike, IMO. The Z1000 mirrors look killer and appear to be wider too. So, can any of our members shed some light on this retrofit?

Re: My Mean Green 2015 Kawasaki Z800

Hello Nikhil,

I believe the mounts for the Z800 and Z1000 mirrors should be the same and it should be a direct fit. There are universal mirror extenders available for Z800, 1000 and N650 - So I believe the mirrors should mount directly.

Thank you so much, V12. This might be the point that's going to tip the scales in favor of the Z800. Yet to receive my HM and father's approval but hopefully I'll be able to book it. Was interested in interchanging the mirrors to Z1000's as it looks more classy and more importantly, read somewhere that the visibility is better as its wider. Never liked the aftermarket mirrors for the Z800. Thank you so much for the valuable input. Till now, I was squinting and mentally zooming into the mirror base of every Z800 and Z1000 video and pics I came across. This puts my mind at ease, doubts rested.

Cheers!

Lovely pictures!

Just wanted to check what fuel you use, in city and on the open road, since quality could differ?

Also, since your Z has run more than any other I know of, how has the ownership experience been, with respect to the bike

The 95 octane has me a little apprehensive

Thanks!
