Kawasaki has started teasing a new motorcycle on the web. It has made two promos on what it is calling the new Ninja H2 and these videos are uploaded to You Tue as also their Facebook page.

This link shows the first part of the teaser called "Built beyond belief" and

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sLokj2xV8aY has been titled Misterious (sic) Sound and starts with the title Chirping and Howling.

The third part is scheduled to go on air on the 5th of September. You can also find the videos on Kawasaki's Facebook page

Kawasaki has also launched a teaser website for the new Ninja H2.

The H2 is an iconic moniker once associated with Kawasaki's 750cc 2 stroke triple cylinder engined motorcycle which was wicked and only about power. It is believed that the new motorcycle will be supercharged (since Kawasaki had sometime ago shown a supercharged engine). It is not two stroke, it is definitely 4 stroke and from the sound it sounds rev happy. Kawasaki claims that this motorcycle was not built with road regulations in mind and is built around power and speed. Speculation is that it could even breach the 300 PS power mark. The motorcycle is expected to be fully revealed at the Intermot and EICMA shows which are just round the corner.

As a Kawasaki fan, I just can't wait to hear more about this motorcycle.

Volume 3 of the video series is out! They are trying to build quite a hype around this motorcycle -

The bike has wings! :Shockked:

Edt: Adding a better picture

It looks wicked.. Just wicked! I never really liked the design language of the new Z1000. This is more or less along the same lines but looks absolutely smashing!! Waiting for the specs..

Wicked is the right word. Mind blowing stuff.

It looks deadly. Kawasaki has taken Z design philosophy to next level.

Official word is out.

998cc Supercharged Inline 4. The race spec 'H2R' produces roughly 300ps!!!! Insane is an understatement!

The street legal version's spec should be interesting!

Kawasaki has displayed pictures of its new installment to the superbike world.
But this time its different as unlike the normal naturally aspirated engines, this one is going to be Supercharged!

Kawasaki calls this the "H2R" and says its the successor to the mighty Mach IV 750.

Some speculated info of the bike:

1) Motor is an inline-4, displaces 998cc and has an added supercharger.
2) The "H2R" in totality is said to produce 300PS. (around 296bhp)
3) Extensive use of Carbon fibre means it will be lighter than the ZX-10R which weighs in at about 201kg.
4) The best for the last. Estimating it to be around 10kg lighter than the ZX-10R,
It would have a power/weight ratio of 1500bhp per Tonne :Shockked:

I seriously doubt this will ever make it to the production line. However, if true, this is really going to take things to another level!!

For production a H2 is being supposed to debut. This H2R is a bike without lights & mirrors, so it should not be street legal.

I think the wheelbase is long, more than a track bike, it appears as a drag bike.

Finally after all that tease. I just saw the video and was half hoping it was going to transform into an Autobot.Reports say that as of now the bike is for close course use only, no news on a commercial model.

Truly Built Beyond Belief, cant wait to see the machine in flesh. 300hp with 250kmph max speed, centrifugal supercharger, all I can say is WOW. Though the H2R will not be street legal, H2 will adapt the design and a tamed engine.

H2 road legal model to be revealed in November. Read it in an Article somewhere but can't find the link now. This is going to be one exciting prospect

The 2 stroke 750 cc H2 from the 1970s and the latest side by side.

Kawasaki has mentioned that this(H2R) is a closed course version. More or less lke a prototype. The 'H2' which is supposed to be unveiled in November should be a toned down version of this which might produce lesser power and might spot normal moulded plastic instead of all the carbon fiber bits! But it will be interesting to see how Kawasaki will put a headlight on this one along with those 2 supercharger's air dam present in the front! :)

Yes, long wheel base to keep the bike flipping over from those maniac 300 horses! Kawasaki has repeatedly mentioned that the atmost priority during development was to give never before experienced acceleration to the customers. So, I guess handling was secondary.

I am seeing so many RIP S1000RR, 1199 Superleggera comments everywhere, but I think it will be pointless to compare these three. The H2 could make a hypersport tourer which might not be as good as an S1000RR or a 1199 in handling and overall performance and hence should not be compared!
