Bottom line
cruisers were made in USA by Indian first then followed by HD (i'm talking about foot forward models & slouched back riding style)
Rest were all imitated by Japs...

Just a small example
Triumph Bonneville has stood thru ages its imitation Kwacker W650 now revamped to W800...yes kwacker by no means looks beautiful...My personal opinion I'd settle for an original iconic version than a cheap imitation
