Confederate Motorcycles has unveiled an another exotica in their line-up x132 HellCat and it is a stunner for $45,000. It is powered by a 2.2lit V2 with 145 pd-feet of torque and weighing 215kgs. you can buy three BMW S1000RR for the price of the Hellcat and still have cash left over to put in the tank. Only 164 will be made in 2012 and till march it is sold out.

These machines are beautiful industrial sculptures. Personally I liked the design and look of their previous gen Hellcat (My dream machine) over this one.

Of course the prices are exorbitant and beyond reach of many superbike owners too. But then these aren't mass productions bikes like the other SBKs.

So wish to see one on Indian roads though.

This is the cheapest of their line-up, old hellcat has a tag price of $60K and pretty similar. Their other products are 120 fighter 88K and wraith at a whopping $94K and these are not for common bikers. Only for money sharks when they get bored of their four wheeled exotics.

yes it would be really great to see one on indian roads, but people would be thinking it is from a work-shop .

Re: Confederate Motorcycles unveils $45K x132 HellCat

Yup. You are correct my friend. This is indeed their cheapest model. These bikes are for the uber-rich. Actors like Brad Pitt, Tom Cruise, Ryan Reynolds and David Beckham do own the previous gen Hellcat. The R131 Fighter retails for a massive USD 100,000/-.

And I couldn't control my amusement reading about your comment about these bikes looking like work-shop builds on Indian roads. LOL.. Imagine that.

Just learnt that our very own DHONI has recently ordered the X132 Hellcat. Can't wait it to see on our soil. Saw this on the facebook page of Confederate.
I really hope this is true.

Re: Confederate Motorcycles unveils $45K x132 HellCat

Fantastic looking bikes. I saw one in Atlanta a couple of years ago for a few brief seconds, and I still remember the tingle in my spine like I just saw a UFO.

However, more marvelous than its machinery is the fact that this company remains alive despite producing just about a 100 odd bikes per year! I have no clue how are they pulling it off.

A 2.2L engine and just 132 bhp....perhaps deliberate by design, but sounds a bit on the lower side doesn't it?
