Why dont you have a word with banglore/chennai/pune dealers regarding the availabiltiy of your desired color?

And just inform rebel motors that you are ready to pick the bike from wherever it is available/whoever gets the stock first

On a different note, even though i never had intention to buy bike from them,i was always treated well and never hesitated in giving me longish test-rides.I heard similar feed back from fellow bikers too!

P.S : You insisted them to get blue color ST so that you can have a look at it and decide? Or is it just that you mentioned casually!

Re: Triumph motorcycles to enter India. Edit: Now Launched Pg. 48

Congrats argchoff on your dream bike purchase!
This is my favorite colour too in the lineup, although I would have preferred a darker blue, something like a navy blue to the white combo. Triumph needs to get some exciting colour schemes for their models here, was browsing through some tube videos, and have seen some nice colour combos on the T100.
If I ever buy a bonnie in this colour scheme I would go ahead and mask the blue with some black or a carbon fibre lookalike. I understand colour is totally a personal choice but wanted to ask if Triumph plans to introduce new colour schemes for bonnie or T100 in the future.
cheers!

Thanks Schitre05. Have you considered the bike in black colour? It looks awesome in real than in pictures. My guess is Triumph will launch new colour schemes for the 2015 lineup as bike manufacturers often do. There is also an option of putting the aluminium matt finish covers of the Thruxton or chrome and looks great in contrast to the all black colour.

New (2nd) Triumph Dealership in Bangalore

Its realiably learnt that a 2nd dealership has approved/started for Bangalore

Bangalore - Triumph Basweshwarnagar;

Quote:

Bangalore becomes the first city in the country to have a second dealer for Triumph. During the launch when we queried why he wanted the second dealer in Bangalore, Mr Chetan (Dayamanna) said it was a therapy and riders love the additional freedom, alive on bike feeling, immense joy, happiness associated with biking

Unquote:

All best to the Dealership

Bikes in India are definitely becomeing a Luxury as well along with being a primary mode of transport !!!

Can someone from Bangalore put in more info on the location etc ?

Best Regards & Ride Safe

Ram

Good Suggestion but, not really practical. But, that would mean buying in a different state and get NOC like our fellow weekend rider who bought the Tiger in Bangalore out of haste

Even I guess the same. This year i dont think there will be anymore colors launched and who knows maybe next year

But, i dont think there are any other colors officially available globally that is not introduced in India? What we see in youtube or internet are all customized Bonnies with some of them gone totally bonkers with mods

I chose a black color bonnie only for the reason that it would look great for any type of modifications (in event of I plan for it in future)

But, then color is a personal choice and changing color of bike is not really a big deal and can done at a stage when we get bored of its stock looks

I personally will start small cosmetic modifications as time passes. No hurry at all

You can purchase the bike without paying the road tax there(in this case its banglore)

Pay the ex-showroom,vat,insurance ,get the bike here and pay the road-tax here in hyderabad!

That is exactly how we get the bikes which are not available here
Ex: aprilia's,big kawas like zx14,z1000..etc,bmw bikes...etc

I think sunder dint know this and paid the road tax too in KA

I had a word with Triumph India sales head yesterday and things look little bit more promising now. They are going to miss the date again as promised earlier. Lets see when they can deliver.

Re: Triumph motorcycles to enter India. Edit: Now Launched Pg. 48

I have a query for all the Triumph owners out there. on my registration paper issued by the dealer, the engine number is missing the first digit, where as on the insurance policy the complete number has been entered. As per the dealer this is common to all triumph bikes sold in india, and that RTO apparently wants that first digit to be excluded from the number in the rctc smartcard and their records. Can someone confirm that this is true?
Also how important is the road tax receipt?. my first name is missing on that receipt.

@Dipant-Congratulations.The stripple looks fantastic.
I would like to ask people out here who have bought a Triumph on loan. From which bank have you guys taken from,as I intend to buy a bonnie.I believe Triumph has a tie up with HDFC.
I would appreciate if someone could pen down their experiences during the loan processes. A short and brief description on the rate of interest, time taken for approval etc would be welcome.
PS-I am a sucker when it comes to loans since I haven't taken any till date.
