It isn't a proper Indian registration plate. He has his initials, name of the location (which I think is where he lives abroad) and a few digits. Definitely not a legitimate plate.

Two Ferraris and one Lambo were being speed tested on NICE near Hosakerehalli 10 days ago
Was running the marathon on the other direction lanes and the sound was distracting. Since the road is good with concrete top, thinking there will be lots of drives on that road during Sundays.

The plates are Dubai/Ajman (unsure which of the two) plates in an "Indianized" font. It is a legit Middle East plate and the car is here on Carnet.

Can't help it, the surrounding culture is only that much. The concept that it is somebody else's valuable property etc etc is very much beyond peoples comprehension here. We had a big fight sometime back at 3M when a garage supervisor carelessly opened the Glass door onto my friends superbike (He saw it very clearly through the glass and could have easily avoided it) When we confronted him, his reasoning was "nothing happened" so what is the fuss all about? Or the gent, who i saw getting into the driver's seat of every possible classic car at a rally and asking people around to take his picture on the wheel, until he was soundly rebuked by one of the organizers :-)
