The mustang is owned by someone at Ramaiah. The car is parked in the parking lot atleast once a week.

I see this Carrera S quite often on New Bel Road

Re: Supercars & Imports : Bangalore

The red 991 Turbo s, looks stunning, are those oem wheels that come with the car? or have they been upsized?

need to see one in the flesh here in Mumbai, very few 991 around.

There are quite a few 991s in Mumbai AFAIK.
I'd say anything between 7-10 which isn't low IMO.

If you meant the Turbo S there, then there are none

Just seen one parked outside the showroom at Prabhadevi (fleeting glimpse, so still unsure this was the new 991) , never seen them driven around town, was referring to the 991 in general, cheers

The showroom has only had 991s on display.
So yes you did see a 991

And a random guess, that the car you saw was a yellow with black top with titanium wheels specc'd Carrera 4S

Those 20" center-lock wheels are optional on the Turbo, but standard on the Turbo S variant.

That's what I thought as well, but here is a Turbo S delivered in Delhi last week (pic posted by AK in the Delhi thread) and its on the normal Turbo wheels.

Could it be a Turbo wearing a Turbo S badge? See, even the steering wheel is bog standard.

The Turbo S comes with three wheel option. They are 20" sport classic wheels, 20" Turbo S wheels and 20" Turbo wheels.

Porsche will only rebadge a car but not put a wrong badge on the cars. This is a Turbo S as Porsche India mentioned they are not getting the Turbo for India.

Speedy is right. You could select any one of the three wheel options available. Although the Turbo S' wheels are stunning, center-locks aren't exactly convenient. That's probably the reason why the owner preferred the standard Turbo wheels on his Turbo S. Or perhaps it came pre-spec'd like that?

The thing with Porsche is, if you've got the dough, you are at liberty to do whatever you want. Even the new Cayman GTS can be had with Turbo Wheels if you must. All optional parts and accessories are interchangeable. The flexibility is vast and it is sure to drive most people crazy.

Yes the centre lock wheels are much hated.GT3 comes with the centre lock as standard and is widely agreed as a PITA to take off and on.Most prefer the normal 5 lug alloys.

Re: Supercars & Imports : Bangalore

^^The blue Turbo S is owned by the Porsche Gurgaon's owner and it's very much a Turbo S only. Second Turbo S of NCR, first being the yellow one.
