@ manish,

Realised this was just a Carrera. the S comes with dual exhaust outlets.
Yes, that happens to be the 911 type 997 Mark I Carrera Cabriolet. Those 19" wheels are a standard fitment on the 'S' variant. But looks like the owner has gone in for them as an extra.

Gulp! Look at those tyres at the back! You get the best view of its width from this angle. Those are 295/30 sitting on 19" wheels!

At high revs this 350Z sounds a bit like GTR.

When will Nissan officially launch beasts such as the 350Z/GTR?

Awesome cars in this thread. I hope someone in Bangalore will take the initiative and organize a 'Supercar' show there. Meanwhile, keep up the good work.

The 'S' badge seems to be very delicate, seen a couple of Carrera 'S' with the 'S' badge broken.
Couple of more pics of the same Carrera S taken on different occasions, months ago.

I see yellow brake calipers peeping out there. The owner must have gone in for the optional (and hugely expensive) carbon ceramic brakes, Porsche refers it to as PCCB. Nice edition to the smashing 911.

Ecks is right, this Carrera S is loaded!

Just checked out the 997 Turbo at the Kemps Corner showroom a few days back. Was admiring the PCCBs and their 8 lakh price tag.

Discussed the CGT with the dude showing me around - he didn't seem to know much about the flagship model their company offers, especially about trivial points like RHD and LHD. He also said there should be about 30 997 Turbos in Mumbai. Lulz.

Was it the face lifted 997 that you checked out? The one with the LEDs up front and the rear? The new face lifted versions come with direct injection and the optional PDK tranny as well. Not a fan of that. Would love the traditional stick shift. 30 Turbos? No kidding! I've seen around 4 in Bangalore and they're pretty nice!

Are you talking about the Carrera GT (CGT). I think the CGT had been discontinued some time back. And I doubt if they were sold in LHD either.

I was wondering if Porsche would follow up with a replacement of the CGT once it was discontinued (In true and traditional Porsche fashion) but they haven't. Knowing that the CGT was a one-off creation, I still had my hopes high. Always preferred the 911 range though! Pretty, supremely fast, razor-blade-sharp, iconic, flawed yet, epic!
