Generally, more the money a person has, it's more difficult to get it out of him/her. Don't we get to hear about people not getting paid for the products/services they have provided to their high profile clients. And later these stingy non-payers still enjoy their position in society since people just can't believe that they haven't paid up saying, "It is just not possible...it is a very smal amount for that guy, why would he do something so cheap" and the poor product/service provider is looked at with contempt for having tried to frame the so-called high profile client.

@Mods: Sorry for having gone way too off-topic, but I hope you understand.

Well, that's all I see at the gym, not even the S class, unless I did see it with stock wheels on

From what I heard he purchased the car from a well known car dealer in Mumbai who cheated him by not disclosing the import documents.

I don't think he feels its worth spending 45 lacs on registration. Hell he can buy another 5 series. lol Anyone in that position would think twice. Also considering the fact that its not a daily driver.

With the person in question, the car is pretty much a daily driver. Or a nightly one, atleast. And money is really not the sort of criterion that weighs heavily on his mind. I was just thinking, who wouldn't love to have his Ferrari read XX XX F430? Like KA 01 F 430, except that's not possible in KA, because all F and Fx series are reserved for BMTC/KSRTC vehicles. Is the UP registration UP xx XX 430?

I don't think the registration ends with an "F430" because that is another car here in Bombay. It came much before Ranjit's car.

I think I know who that dealer is. He is behind bars at the moment that too with a non-bailable warrant. He is my childhood friends neighbor.

This Mini has been sitting in a second hand car dealership on Nandi Durga road for about 2-3 months now. Maybe more.

I think its the dealership owners car... Or hes not able to sell it at the price hes asking.
