I saw this rapide on Carter road last week. Crazy presence it's got! It looks stunning in flesh. Dint quite like it in the pics though. But I dint know Aston Martin had a dealership here.

About "ample of space at the rear", you must see it closely to get a shock. Paramera rear seats are more better. Agree about the panamera looks though.

Saw the rapide. nice. But front of a quattroporte s/ gts looks better. Interiors of a panamera is better. Rear of the rapide and quattroporte r good. Sides of a cls looks stunning. Detailing of the xfr/xjr/bentley rapide are good. Feel the rapide is not uniform in terms of its identity based on styling. It looks confused weather it needs to be a track car or a luxury style car. All in all its a nice style statement while the model is latest and new. If i had this budget I would choose the mulsane or a brabus rocket cls. For pure thrills in the lap of luxury with style would prefer the Italian supercharged novitec quattroporte S. Pure aggression!

Dayyum! Those rims, I just skipped a beat or two. One of the first Rapides I saw was a white sporting the same rims, how I wished to see it in India. Exceptional taste!

The Rapide novelty has worn off after seeing tons of them on the road here... Love the DBS's though.. There is a fellow just down the road who has one.

The car is a stunner!! The interior pic on the first page, no Gear lever - all button operated ?

If you take a good look at the center console, below the AC vents, right and left of the crystal-key slot, you can see four buttons which reads P-R-N-D. That's it! Same for the DBS and DB9 as well.

Re: Pics: Mumbai's first Aston Martin Rapides

The Aston's look fabulous.
I love the brown on the Rapide. There is so much class to this car which no other brand imo carries except probably a bentley which comes close.

I still would anyday take the DBS over this.

Re: Pics: Mumbai's first Aston Martin Rapides

Checked out the Black Rapide this afternoon as it was being readied for delivery. The guys were giving it a final polish before it headed to its owner. I must say it is one beautiful automobile. And its quite big in size too. Talk about presence. Everything seems crafted to perfection.

It looked so virgin, didnt feel like sitting inside Now for a TD soon

Re: Pics: Mumbai's first Aston Martin Rapides

Nah, doesnt do it here at all. Plus whats the point of an aston in mumbai..if its that kinda money and you want flash value there are so many others to choose from. But DBS on the other hand is a completely different story...
