please: - I think this is a picture of some farmer posing near someone's rolls at some toll plaza / food plaza. Looking by thier attire, I dont think they are even in that "ritchie rich" category to afford a rolls. stupid:

Never underestimate anyone mate! There are farmers in Punjab who use BMW X6s to ferry around ploughs and to tie their bullocks. There is a barber in Bangalore who drives a Ghost, A7, 7er etc.
That Rolls might as well be theirs. You never know!

In India, I doubt if farmers will ever be allowed to go anywhere near the cars if they are not their ownstupid:. Actually, they don't even dare to touch a luxurious car. So in all probability, the car belongs to them.

:OT I guess there was something called "Background checks" done by RR sometime back, right?

Rolls Royce sell to anyone with the cash

Maybe it is a used car?

I dont think Rolls Royce can control the used car market. There are many Rolls for sale on Carwale in Delhi and Mumbai.

It can be a new one too. Its been repeated umpteenth times on the forum that Rolls Royce does NOT do any sort of background checks before selling cars. Half the drug mafia around the world are driving Rolls, FYI.

Thanks for the clarification. BTW, how many service centres in India cater to RR? If an owner is very far from the service centre, how is the service done on the car?

Saw this Ghost few days back in Peddar Road.

Vijay Mallya in a PY reg Ghost in Mumbai. Not sure if its his and why it has PY plates?

Why? Simple- Tax saving.

PY is the cheapest RTO in India. They have a flat fee of 25k or so for lifetime RTO tax irrespective of the car's value.

Could not locate the Mumbai Supercars and Imports Thread. My bad. So going for the nearest City. lol:

An RR with MP Registration (Spotted outside Taj) and an Aventador with a PY Registration (Spotted Revving on Worli Seaface),

Not Sure if the RR is a Phantom or Ghost. I am not really that Savvy with the RRs.

Saw couple of RR Ghost's few days back in SoBo.

Rolls Royce Ghost parked at the Atria Mall.

Rolls Royce Ghost with a Mansory kit.
