Very little chance for that to be Prithvi's car. The Ad says its a June 2010 model and IIRC he bought his Z4 before that. It must be the BMW dealer's Z4.

Prithvi was long due an upgrade.

I smell a Porsche coming, he’s a huge fan. Picked the Z4 cos the waiting period for the Boxster was too long.

I reckon his Z4 would have done much more than 4k kms. The car travelled the length and breadth of the state with him or the driver to his shooting sets.

Ok..saw the red color (I remember reading he ordered it specially and thus it's exclusive), the fancy number and the owner is an actor...so guessed it should be his. Either that or the ad posting is completely wrong.

He didn’t order it. It was readily available at the dealership, in fact that’s why he went for the car over a Boxster. IIRC it was India’s first Crimson Red Z4 and came for the owner of BMW Kochi. Cos he didn’t want to lose a sale, he sold the car to Prithvi and got another one.

Now the dealer is getting himself yet another Kerala first car, hope Prithvi has not set his eye on that too

I would say Prithvi's is the only original crimson red Z4 in Kerala. The showroom owner didn't get another red Z4, but just painted the demo car red (original colour-Silver). Also the third red Z4 for the state was originally black, again repainted. This justifies why the red car has fox red interiors

That explains the mysterious vanishing of the Orion Silver demo car.

On retrospect, I drove the car when it was Orion Silver and Crimson Red without realizing that it is the same car

To be brutally honest, I prefer the C-Red on F-Red combo over Pritvi's white/light beige. Too bright a interior for my liking.

I've wondered where the silver and black Z4s disappeared! Thanks for clearing that.
I think Fox red interiors would look good on light colored cars especially white or silver.
