I just called my friend for some other purpose & he mentioned that the car is being coming from Milan to Singapore & then India, not mentioned the port! He told its not on Carnet!

@Unknown : Yeah I meant half a car per year. There is almost a half page report on VW's plans with Bugatti in India. Pg 4 to be precise. Please check. This is also probably the most extreme price band (5-12 crores). Bugatti must be serious this time.

Those reporters know null. The price(original) must be Rs.5crore and Rs.12crore must be the approximate(this side of) OTR price for India. Hypothetically assume the price after the RHD conversion =

I'm not sure what to say. But I do know is that a couple of months back our real-estate agent called us to tell us that he had a customer to see our shop at the Atria Mall (the one Ducati is currently renting) and when we asked who, he reluctantly said Bugatti, and we were told to keep it amongst ourselves as the owner did not want to spread the word and wanted to keep a low-profile. He was also planning to open a showroom in Delhi.

I'm not sure how true this is, but just thought I'd share it with you guys.

@Unknown : No offence taken, afterall all TeamBHPians are "Octane Brothers." It is all in the learning cycle as Jayabusa has said.And as for the pricing thing, there are lot of contemplations yet, not only about the RHD conversions but a lot more things. If we see more things surfacing, then we can take it to be a good sign. That will be surity signs that Bugatti is indeed setting up shop here.

I dont see why it doesnt make sense talking about the fastest car in the world in anywhich way.and waste time talking about some other jazzz. And why keep talking about bad roads when we still buy murcelagos and 911 turbos and atoms too,The car might come , or may not.its still worth a mention when a company that has invested close to 3500 crores in india owns it and is serious about its image in the country which has the second largest growth rate in the automobile industry.

it might sell even a single car a year..but is stillll worth a mention

+1 to what mlcarrera says.Am sure all of us here are not going to think how practical or impractical the Veyron is on Indian roads if we happen to see one on our city roads.We would just sit back and admire the beauty.

Well im not trying to contradict anyones statement here about the Veyron impossible to come to India,but iv been told that the DC guy here is getting a Veyron soon here in Hyd. I wont be surprised because thats probably the only car left for him to buy LOL! This surely isnt just another rumor as comon its the DC guy who iam talking about!
