Spotted: Volvo XC70

Was on my way to Dadar from Andheri on the Western Express Highway when I seen this golden Volvo XC70. It was awesome. Didn't have the camera with me today, so couldn't take any pics. Worse, while returning seen it at Mahim again. Had first seen this car in the VIP "BYE-BYE" ad and had loved it. Will try to get pics as soon as I can. Pictures are attached below:

If not for the height, it looks more like a station wagon. I have regularly driven the S70, S80 in the last few years. The front looks almost car like, the S80 look. Knowing Volvo, it is hard to get excited about driving it.

But it looks great in the Indian context through.

Yesterday I was driving on Airport road and near NAL I suddenly saw the familiar cross belt grill on my rear view mirror. This is the first time I am seeing a Volvo car in India. Anyway, I immediately let it go forward since I wanted to check out the make. It was a XC70 AWD station wagon, not a make I am familiar with. I have regularly driven the S70, S80 and the older 840 since my uncle back in New york is a loyal Volvo leaser, 8 volvos so far.
